Hormone Consult

To lay the foundation for our visit, you will complete a very detailed health history questionnaire.  You may be surprised by it, as likely no other health care provider will have asked you some of these questions. At your initial appointment first, we will dig deep into your health history and current symptoms in order to identify possible triggering causes, next a physical exam often identifies additional clues to the causes of your problems, and finally necessary lab work will be ordered using the “Test, Don’t Guess” approach to diagnosis.

Once Kathy has a complete picture of you  and your health challenges, she formulates and shares with you a comprehensive treatment plan.  This starts with explaining the causes of your imbalances, because understanding is the basis for success in making changes.  After the initial visit and starting the plan,  shorter but just as important check-ins, are necessary to discuss your progress and any challenges with implementing the plan. The ongoing support via these check-ins is essential to your success, as we can troubleshoot areas that are not working for you and make modifications.  By revisiting the goals you listed at the first appointment, we can track progress.
